We don't sell your data
Your vault information is yours. We will never sell it, share it with advertisers, or let third parties use it to target you.
No ads, ever
We don't show advertisements. No banners, no sponsored content, no “partners” trying to sell you financial products. Our only goal is to keep your important details safe and organised.
What we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to make the product work: your email address (for sign-in), and any optional profile details you choose to provide such as your name, phone number, and country of residence. The data you enter into your vault is encrypted in your browser before it reaches our servers, so we cannot read it.
Encryption & where your data lives
Your vault data is encrypted end-to-end before it leaves your browser using a key derived from your recovery phrase. That key is generated on your device and never transmitted to our servers. Your encrypted data is stored on servers in Europe, where strong privacy laws apply. We cannot read your vault contents. Only you (and anyone you explicitly grant access to) can.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how people use the app, such as which pages are visited and where people get stuck. We don't track you across the web or build a profile.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.
Email communications
We only email you when necessary: verifying your email, sign-in codes, subscription changes, and proof-of-life check-ins if you opt in. No marketing newsletters.
Sharing with third parties
We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We use a small number of service providers to operate the product (hosting, payment processing via Stripe, email delivery, and bot protection via Cloudflare). These providers only process data as needed to deliver their service. Because your vault is encrypted end-to-end, neither we nor our providers can read its contents.
Trustees
If you choose to nominate trustees, they may receive access to your vault data after the proof-of-life protocol completes. This only happens if you opt in, and you control which trustees are nominated and the waiting periods involved. No data is ever shared with trustees without the full protocol running to completion.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. When you delete, we delete. No shadow copies, no backups retained, no exceptions.
